Give
See what God can do through your generosity.

Why Give?
Put God First
Everything we have comes from God. Giving the first 10% back to Him is more than a biblical principle, it’s how we honor God and declare that He comes first in our lives.
Proverbs 3:9

Model Generosity
We follow God’s example by giving freely and joyfully, breaking free from greed and trusting He is our ultimate provider.
2 Corinthians 9:7

Transform Lives
Every gift to the local church is an investment in something eternal. God uses your gift to transform lives and restore hope as more people experience the love of Jesus.
Matthew 6:20–21

Where Your Gift Goes
When you give to Echo, your gift fuels transformative Kingdom work across four key areas:
Make Room for More
We give to create welcoming spaces where the lost, least, and lonely can encounter Jesus. Together, we’re making room for more people to experience the life-changing presence of God.

Equip the Next Generation
We’re raising the next gen to know Jesus, hear His voice, and courageously live out their faith. Your generosity equips them to lead, serve, and carry the hope of Jesus wherever they go.

Hope Beyond Our Walls
Echo Compassion puts generosity into action, partnering locally and globally to meet real needs, strengthen communities, and bring the hope and love of Jesus to people near and far.

Growing Together
Spiritual growth happens best in community. Your generosity fuels Echo Groups, where people build meaningful relationships, deepen their faith, and live out the way of Jesus in everyday life.

Why Tithe?
At Echo, we believe tithing is a gift! It helps us put God first, trust Him more deeply, and loosen our grip on what He has entrusted to us. The first 10% is not a ceiling on generosity, but a starting point for a life of joyful, open-handed giving.
Stories of Generosity
We believe generosity inspires generosity. When we give out of gratitude for all God has done, we reflect His heart and become part of His work in the world. These stories remind us that when we open our hands and allow God to work through us, He transforms us and others through His grace.

Giving Appreciated Stock
Giving stock that you’ve held for over a year can save you up to 37% in federal income taxes based on the value of the charitable gift when itemizing deductions and protect your realized gains from being subjected to long-term capital gains tax, which can be up to 20%.
Consult with a tax professional to understand the full tax benefits of giving appreciated stock, including potential state tax savings.
Giving Company Stock Outside the Trading Window
If you received company-distributed stock as an employee and the trading window is not open, your brokerage will likely reject the transfer request. We suggest you ask your company for the trading windows and give during those time periods, which typically are open quarterly for three to four weeks at a time.
You can give through your bank’s online bill payment service. Your bank will send Echo.Church the payment, and we will add it to your giving record as if you had written a check yourself. Allow 24 to 48 hours for your transaction to post to your giving record after we receive the check.
Roughly 60% of Echo’s ministry investment goes toward staffing and space. Our staff equip and mobilize hundreds of volunteers who make ministry happen every week, while our spaces create environments where people worship, gather, grow, and encounter Jesus.
We also seek to steward our spaces for maximum Kingdom impact. Our facilities are used by other churches, nonprofits, and Kingdom partners, and are also leased to for-profit organizations when appropriate — generating income that can be reinvested into ministry. We believe God has entrusted these resources to us, and we want to steward them generously and wisely.
Another 10% is invested in compassion, church planting, outreach, and evangelism — serving those in need, engaging our neighborhoods, strengthening the local church, and creating opportunities for people to encounter Jesus.
The remaining investment supports ministries like Groups and the Next Generation, along with the essential infrastructure and operations that enable ministry to happen across Echo.
Echo is accountable to an internal Board of Trustees and an external Board of Overseers, which work with our DLT to ensure our stewardship systems are above reproach. We also voluntarily submit to an annual audit by a reputable third-party firm. For any stewardship questions, please contact giving@echo.church to obtain a percentage of breakdown of resource allocation.
The Echo team prayerfully discerns how to steward the resources God has entrusted to Echo. The percentages above reflect our typical ministry investment and serve as guiding targets rather than fixed allocations. Actual investment may vary from year to year based on ministry priorities, special initiatives, designated funding, and opportunities God brings our way.
