Echo Compassion
Serving locally, partnering internationally, and planting churches regionally.

Local Compassion
We are called to love our neighbors with compassion, generosity, and purposeful partnerships. Discover opportunities below to put love into action and build bridges between our communities and the local church.
Serve Together
We strongly encourage every Echo Group to serve as a team at our local compassion events. Here are a few other ways to serve as a group:
• Pray weekly for a global partner or church plant
• Fundraise for one of our global or local partners
• Make hygiene kits for our unhoused neighbors
• Create care packages for local teachers
• Visit the elderly at Life’s Garden senior residence

Learn About Our TripsWhy Mission Trips?
Global Partnerships
Jesus told all of his disciples to go into the world and make more disciples, as well as to be a witness to what he had done. He told them to go into their local spaces and to the ends of the earth.
Matthew 28:16-20, Acts 1:8

Kingdom Unity
He also prayed that his disciples (us!) would be unified. This unity is a theme we see throughout the New Testament. When we connect with our partners worldwide, we continue to strengthen the unity of the Church!
John 17

Personal Transformation
Stepping out on a mission trip expands your perspective on God, His Kingdom, and the global Church. Experiencing God move in different cultures reminds us of the rich gifts He has given the global body of Christ, allowing us to see Him at work in entirely new ways.

About Mission Trips

Each mission trip has its own age requirements. Please see ‘Age Requirements’ for each team.
Applications are on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications for all 2027 trips open on October 11. Click on the “Apply” button, create a Managed Missions account, and fill out the questionnaire. After you apply, you will be notified by the Team Leader whether you have been approved. The Team Leader may reach out to you if they have further questions.
We suggest using the ⅓ method. Expect to pay for ⅓ of your mission trip expenses, and fundraise and trust God with the remaining ⅔! Once you get approved for your mission trip, you will get instructions on how to set up a fundraising page. We encourage you to share this with your friends, family, and colleagues.
Echo values your safety and cares about international security. We have partners on the ground who are able to give us real-time information about the location where they are living. Should they say it is not safe to have team members come, your Team Leader will reach out to you with next steps.
Church Planting
We believe that God’s primary vehicle for advancing His Kingdom is through local churches. From the beginning, Echo has always been a church investing in the Church — starting, supporting, and equipping other local churches so that more communities will be transformed through knowing and following Jesus.
